Description
This community was founded by immigrants from the western and southern parts of Bohemia in the Austrian Empire in the 1880's. The residents of the community built the mill to make their own special rye flour for rye bread, a type of bread that could not be found in the area at that time. The mill operated until the early 1900's. All of the immigrants in the community were from Bohemia.
